Gentlemen….

1..The signup sheets for the Summer Season, 2023, have ended.  Bill French, Randy Schaaf and Ted Bennett will be assigning players to one of the three teams this coming Monday, July 3, 2023. They will also choose a team color.  We only have enough sign-ups for 3 teams.  Bob Curley has made up the schedule to show one game only on Tuesdays and Thursdays with the third team having a bye.  The start time will be 0830.  The playing field is yet to be advised. Your board of directors will be announcing the decision after the board meeting.

2)..Speaking of board meetings, the next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 6, 2023.  The field location will be announced after this meeting.

3).. The summer season will start on July 11, 2023, and end on August 17th, 2023.  

4).. The Fall Season 2023 is scheduled to start on September 19th, 2023, after the “huge” Las Vegas tournament is almost over.

5)..The next two seasons, we will be using the same ball as we have been using.  The Stote.  They are on hand.

6)..The recipient of this season’s Sportsmanship award is Ernie Regaldo.  A very well deserved selection.

7)..A special “Thank you” to Sal Navarro and his food crew for an outstanding job on our League picnic.

8),,Your board of directors along with a couple of others, have been reviewing field costs to help determine the Fall Season entry fees.. They might have to be increased., but it still is the best deal in town. They will keep the increase to as low as possible but allowing for some increased costs.

9).. For those of you that are not aware, Steve Baranick will be returning to the MSSL in the summer league.

10)..I know the Spring season has been a long one due to the heat, rains, and the fire but we managed to play the complete schedule.

11).. Last but not least, Congratulations to Matt Kraemer and his Kruds for winning their second consecutive league and tournament championships.

12)..I have “bored” you for long enough so I will say wait till next month.
