Hello all

I’m sorry that I am late with this but in the recent past, there just hasn’t been much to write about but lots of “stuff” coming up.

1).. We did start and complete the shortened 2023 Summer Season.  Only 3 teams wanted to play in the heat, but we fooled them,
and started the games at 0800 and in almost all, cases we were done and gone by 0930.  Special thanks to Bill French, Ted Bennett and Randy Schaaf
for handling the draft.  Looks like the teams were evenly balanced.

2)..I need to take a little break for medical reasons, but now I’m back.  Good or bad.  Ha, Ha, Ha.

3)..Our new rule books have arrived.  Frank White will be handling the disposition.

4)..Once again, Sal Navarro and crew was up to preparing a fantastic league picnic for us.  Wonder what he has in store for next summer.  Maybe Italian?.

5)..As it stands right now, we will have 9 teams for the Fall Season with 9 managers.  No committee team (s). 

6)..Fall team draft is scheduled for August 29th, at the Wheatfield clubhouse at about 1030. Bob Curley and the assessment team are
working hard to get all in order. Looks like we will have several new players.

7)..The special committee composed of all managers and 3 board members, who did such a good job at the at last meeting, will be at
it again on August 24th at Bill Olsen’s restaurant “Bellas” at 1100.  Keep Bill in mind when dining out.  He is in the Murrieta area.

8)..2023 Fall Season is scheduled to begin September 12th at a location still to be determined.  We are still negoitiating.  Stay tuned.  Film at 11. 

9)..Enjoy the Labor Day holiday and be safe.  Until I see you again, ADIOS.
