To all MSSL members and their families..

Welcome to the last report for 2023.  It will be relatively short as the regular season ended earlier this month.  The end of season tournament will not begin until January 2, 2024 with the play- in game between team #4 (H) and team #6 on field #8 at 0900. That is the only game that day with everyone resuming a full schedule on Thursday, January 4, 2024.  All games at Diamond Valley Lake.

Bob Curley and I met with Valley Wide management on December 14, 2023 and nothing has changed for now.  We do have a few options which your Board of Directors and I are pursuing.  Stay tuned.

Matt Kraemer’s Kruds came out victorious in the regular season. I believe this is the third time Matt and his teams have won the league championship.  Congratulations.

As mentioned in earlier correspondence, this season had 7 of the 9 teams in contention going into the final week.  Our draft system seems to work and our managers were excellent in their drafting.

There will be no formal practices between Christmas and New Years at Discovery Park. With the intensified regular season, we all need a rest.

Jerry Callahan has prepared the playoff schedule.  It is posted on the website.

Effective immediately, Jeff Bockness will be taking over the responsibility of ordering all new uniforms, and the orders for team awards. The organizational chart will be updated.  There may be some additional changes.
