Hello everybody…..

I am truly sorry that this is 9 days late this month.  I was in Sacramento for a week over Thanksgiving with my family,
and then off to Tampa for the Air Canada retirees annual board meeting.  Just got back today….

Good thing it was a very quiet month.

I hope all MSSL members and their families were able to enjoy the Thanksgiving Holiday.

We had cancelled practice on Monday, November 11, 2024, to honor our and all other veterans.

We also had to postpone the 2 scheduled games with the Mt. San Jacinto College girl’s softball team due to their lack of availability. (A last minute tournament invitation for them.)

We had a visit from Beverly Altes and her sister at one of our games. Her husband Bob had passed earlier in the year.  She still supports our MSSL.

We also lost Susan Huey after a long health issue.  Her husband Mike is a long-term member of our MSSL and may be back to join us soon. It will be good to have him with us again.

After the 17th of December,  we will have a light schedule….2025 Spring draft will be at Bill Olsen’s (Bellas) restaurant on January 14, 2025 and Spring Season will begin on February 4, 2025. 

That is about it for now….

OOPS….2 more things….we may need some more managers in the spring so you volunteers come and see me……and a little “birdie” told me that Brian Crozier will be joining us.  (Good news)….
