Services for Ed Hustead, Monday, March 29th @ 10:15am @ Riverside National Cemetery. Private Service due to Covid. Family only. However, the procession to the cemetery will pass through Wheatfield Park, so we and the rest of our softball community can pay their respects. The procession will be escorted by the Patriots motorcycle group and will proceed slowly into the Wheatfield Park lot, making a circle around to pay respect to Eddie and the “Ed Hustead Field” sign that we erected in his honor. They will then go directly to the cemetery for the private services.
This will be the first of two opportunities to honor Eddie.
There will be a “celebration of life” at the Impact Church in Menifee on Saturday, April 10, 2021, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
It is requested by the family that we wear our softball jerseys (either color) while we are at Wheatfield Park. Remember that Eddie was a decorated military veteran so any banner/flag would also be appropriate.
Thank you and may he “Rest in Peace” with the rest of the softball players that have gone before him in Heaven. Now he can play ball for an eternity.
