Commissioners Newsletter – July 2021

Hello from your commissioner….

I wanted to pass on some information and I will try to provide information as I get it as it pertains to our MSSL family.

1)..As you know, we a currently signing up players for the MSSL Fall season. It is going just a bit slow so make sure you send a e-mail to Bob Curley (Casey049@msn.com) as he is coordinating this procedure.

2)..We still have not received information about playing our games at Big League Dreams in Perris. We are hoping to have final information this week. We are still in discussions with Valley Wide to use Wheatfield as a back-up depending what happens with BLD.

3)..We said “goodbye” to David Romero as he is moving to Arizona. We are about to lose Ed Nicholls Jr as he is moving to New Mexico. We thank them for their many years of contributions to the success of the MSSL We wish them nothing short of success in their new homes.

4)..Our new board is now completely staffed with a full complement of 7 and they are already making a mark in the short time in office. They are available to answer your questions so seek them out. They are completely transparent and are here to serve you and our MSSL. A new organization chart will be out shortly.

5)..There is alot of information on our website and it updated regularly. Please use this resource to answer some of your questions. Our almost current rules and procedures are there also. (MenifeeSeniorSoftball.com)

6)..Lets have fun and enjoy something that we all enjoy and love.

Next update scheduled for the end of August or when news breaks.

Bobby..

PS
My sincere apologies to Mr. Jack Buss. I left him out of the newsletter in error..

Jack has moved on to Arizona.  He was a huge supporter of the MSSL in many ways. Thank you Jack. You will be missed.
