MSSL: November 2021 Commissioners Report

1)..Hope this finds all of you and your families in good health following the Thanksgiving holiday…

2)..Welcome back to Orlando Lopez and Brian Crozier from the Covid 19 list.  And also hoping for a quick recovery to Richard Popoff’s wife from the same.

3)..We just recently said good-by to long time MSSL member Larry Gordon. May he RIP.

4)..Hugh Ord has retired from the MSSL.  We wish him well in the future.

5)..We had 2 games against the Mt. San Jacinto College girls softball team.  The first one was for Veteran’s Day and the second because everyone had so much fun.  (2nd one was actually on December 1, 2021) but I am sneaking it into this report because I might forget by next month).

6)..We are nearing the end of our first season at Diamond Valley Lake.  I believe the move has been very successful.
There is not much (if any) progress at Wheatfield Park, so we might be here for awhile.

7)..The USSSA has changed our approved softball from the “Rock” ball to the “Stote” ball. We were pro-active and have the new ball in stock and it will make it’s appearance in our playoff tournament in Mid-December 2021.
That’s about it for November 2021.  C U at the end of December and the beginning of 2022.
