Commissioners Report…December 2021

Hello everyone…..

I hope all members had a happy holiday season and Santa was good to you.

Well, we have made it through our first regular season at the new facility.

I would consider it very successful with the exception of a few difficulties with the sun. The move from field #6 to field #8 has been positive.  The rain was also a situation but we made out by making up all but one.

Our second season will begin on January 25 (rain permitting). Bob Curley and I are in the process of finalizing the master list for the Spring Season draft.  We hope to have it finalized by this Wednesday so we can have the draft the week of January 11.  Be alert for advice of the actual date and location.  We plan on having 10 teams with 12 players each. (we still need 1 or 2 more managers.)

We have lost 2 board members this month.  Mike Trice and his family are moving to Texas and Bob Curley is stepping down.  The January Board meeting is scheduled for January 11th, where the vacant positions will be finalized.  If interested in one of the positions, please advise me by e-mail ASAP with a copy to Dan Krepich.

As we begin 2022, I hope all your New Years resolutions come to fruition.  Hopefully the pandemic gets resolved and we can get back to our normal lives.  God willing.

See you next month.

Bobby
