MONTHLY COMMISSIONERS REPORT MAY 2022

May was a very busy month for all of us.

1)..We lost Bob Envall. A big loss for our league. RIP Bob.

2).. With some early negotiations, we will play the Summer and Fall seasons at Diamond Valley Lake. We may have a slight increase in league fees but we will still have the best entertainment for the buck.

3)..We recently had our yearly Board of Directors elections. All that were up for election ran unopposed and the complete board will remain intact.

4)..We received a suggestion about using a new scoring plate. Due to a misconception, we will use the same type of plate. New ones have been ordered.

5)..Please use brown paper bags or other types of covers for your after game celebrations.

6)..We finally had our MSSL league picnic after a two year absence due to the pandemic. I am proud of the work that our league chefs, Sal and Maria Navarro, along with their support staff, were able to accomplish and, as a betting man, think it was our best ever. Sal is already planning next year’s party. I know that I thanked several of our league members but if I missed anyone, let me know. I think I forgot to mention Brian Crozier for all his photographs. Thank you Brian.

7)..Lastly, I want to thank the whole league for your support and assistance with my first year anniversary as your commissioner. I hope that it has been satisfactory for you as we keep going with our legacy that Mr. Ed Hustead started over 20 years ago.

Bobby…
