Hello…….

1)..First off I want to apologize for the NO report for July. I just did not have time due to the upcoming Fall Draft. I apologize and will include it with this August Report.

2)..I want to thank Dan Krepich for is work in updating most of our rules (procedures are next) in response to a Joe Hansell request. Still a couple of things to discuss and finalize but we are getting there.

3)..Our Ed Hustead Sportsmanship Award has been reinstated for the Spring 2022 season and will be announced and presented at the Opening Day ceremonies in September 2022.

4)..Our Fall Season draft was completed in August. New teams, new managers and the same field. Thanks to Bob Curley, John Sennett, Randy Schraff and Jimmy Clark for their assistance with the ratings. Also, thanks to the managers, assistants and volunteers that made the draft day operation go really smooth. Thanks to Valley Wide Recreation for the facilities.

5)..Awards for the Spring 2022 season were ordered and presented to the winning team, John Sennett and his God’s Warriors. Congratulations.

6)..Thank you to Jack Fisher for compiling the list of our 80+ years old players. We have 9 of them:
Bob Altes, Harry Brown, Mike Weimer, Bob Sauber, Dennis Phistry, Lonnie Arnold,
Gene Dick, Jack Fisher, and Bob Friederich.

7)..Our Chief Umpire, Frank White, held his first umpiring clinic. Thanks to those who attended.

8)..The Board of Directors met on August 16, 2022.. Minutes have been published. Next board meeting is scheduled for September 13, 2022..All members are invited to attend.

9)..Password for our webpage has been changed. Ted Bennett will be sending an email with the new code. Managers and the “board” has it also.

10)..Happy Labor Day….
