Hello everyone….

As we begin finalizing the start of the 2025 Fall Season, I felt that reminders covering what is going to happen be shared with all of you.

1)..Our 8 managers will be drafting the teams on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Bella’s restaurant in Murrieta.  It will begin at 0900 and hopefully finish by 1030…After completion, the managers will be calling their 12 selections to notify them of their team number, teammates, etc.  The team number will be referenced on the season schedule which is on the website.

2)..If you have any questions on the schedule and how it is set up, see your manager.  I will have a few copies at our last off season Monday practice on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Wheatfield Park.

3)..The season will begin on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 0830 at Audie Murphy Park in Menifee (where we played this past summer) with 3 games. Playing 3 games is an experiment that will last all season due to field availability.  After this game on Tuesday, we will take 3 playdates off while many of our players are at the World Championships in Las Vegas.  We will resume the regular schedule on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.

4)..The league fee of $100.00 will be due on September 30, 2025.  It will be payable to your manager. If you write a check, make it payable to MSSL. I will have most uniforms sets (except hats) available at the Monday practice or on game day.  The one-time fee for the uniforms will be an additional $60.00. This is payable to your manager also.  The managers will have record sheets to keep track of the payments. The final tally will be done by Bill French, our Treasurer.

5)..We are working to come up with an umpire schedule which may not be finalized by the first game, so I am looking for 3 umpires to do the first games.  Look at the schedule to see if you might be available.  Two teams are on a bye.

6)..Also, I am still working on opening day ceremonies

I think this is enough information for our brains for now and I will send out more later as needed.  Let me know if I have forgotten anything.
